Situated in landscaped gardens in an easily accessed location next door to Jerilderie Health Center in Jerilderie, our preschool enjoys a safe and beautiful setting. Recent landscaping and playground upgrade attracts birds and insect life into our grounds. Experienced, passionate and caring staff provide a fun and stimulating program. The shady setting outside our gate is the perfect place to make new friends before or after a kinder session. When can my child go to Preschool?

A child may be eligible for enrolment in preschool from the beginning of the school year if they turn four years on or before 31 July that year.

Generally, preschools operate during school hours. Attendance patterns are determined according to the needs of the local community.

When do enrolments close?

Enrolments for the each year are open early in fourth term around October.

Parents and guardians are asked to complete an enrolment form and a preference of days form.

This includes children enrolled in the current year.

How can I prepare my child for the first day of Preschool ?

The first day of preschool can be an exciting, yet anxious time for you and your child. There are a number of things that you can do to smooth your child's transition from home to preschool.

How can I help at Preschool?

As the Pre-school is run by a parent/community body and is only partially funded by the Government, parents are encouraged to assist in the running of the Pre-school and it's fundraising endeavours.

Alternatively, if you are unable to help in the organisation of any fundraising functions please do not hesitate to bring along a bunch of people to join in the fun when we hold a social fundraising function.
